How to Request Information and Technical Assistance
The National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement is honored to support Tribal child welfare programs through responsive, relationship-based technical assistance. The request process is simple, respectful, and designed to meet programs where they are.
To learn more about our services and how we work with Tribal programs, we invite you to view and download our Welcome Packet. It provides an overview of our process and information about how the Center can support your program.
Step 1: Submit a Request
To begin, programs can reach out to the Center in one of the following ways:
-
-
Complete the online request form
Email: info@ntcwcia.org
Call: 1-855-780-4047
-
This first step lets the Center know that support is needed and starts the conversation. The more information shared upfront, the better the Center can prepare for the next steps.
Step 2: Schedule an Initial Meeting
Within two business days, the Center’s Service Integration Manager will reach out to schedule an initial virtual meeting. This conversation is an opportunity for:
Mutual introductions
Listening to the program’s goals, context, and challenges
Exploring how the Center can offer meaningful support
Step 3: Begin the Partnership
After the initial meeting, the Center will co-develop a tailored support plan aligned with the program’s priorities. Programs will receive:
A welcome packet
Curated resources relevant to their focus areas
A formal introduction to their dedicated Tribal Liaison
This marks the beginning of a collaborative and culturally grounded partnership.
If You’re Not Ready Yet
If a program submits a request but cannot be reached, the Center will make three contact attempts. If there’s no response, the request will be closed—but programs are always welcome to reconnect and reinitiate the process at any time.
